An ultra-lightweight camp cutlery basic

By hard anodizing the aluminum it forms a kind of 'exoskeleton' or shell. This encapsulates the aluminum, so there’s no risk of the alloy leaching into food. Its traditional size and shape also brings a little bit of home with you wherever you need it.

• Can these utensils be sterilized with bleach?
  Yes. Bleach will not damage the anodized surface of the Alpha cutlery. Please use bleach in moderation in the backcountry – it kills ‘good’ bacteria as well as harmful bacteria.

• Can these utensils be used with non-stick frying pan and pot finishes?
  No, the hard edges of the cutlery will damage either a PTFE (Teflon) or a ceramic coating. Nylon cooking utensils are preferable.
• Are they dishwasher-safe?
  No. The caustic cleanser used in dishwashers will damage the anodized finish of Alpha cutlery.
